EVENTS FOR KIDS

Our fundraising events at Southold Yacht Club have become timeless traditions that the children look forward to year after year. From first mates through teen years fun is always to be had by all at these occasions.

Southold Fourth of July Parade - SYC float decorating and Parade March in the Southold 4th of July Parade. Celebrate our great nation's Independence Day by decorating our "float my boat" and the sailors at SYC by dressing them up in red white and blue at SYC and the children walking in the parade.
Thursday July 4

Soccer & Sundaes- A great way to kick off the season with a riveting soccer match at the Southold High School fields with the children and instructors playing followed by an ice cream sundae bar at SYC.
Monday July 8

Bingo Night - Come play BINGO with snacks and drinks and fantastic prices for all of the winners and all players WIN!
Tuesday July 16

Color Run & Water Balloon Toss - Join the race and get doused in every color powder at the finish line! Jump in the bay or choose machine washing for your clothes of course but wear your old duds just in case!

Halloween in July - Wear your Halloween costume to class.

Movie Night - Enjoy a movie and popcorn at the clubhouse.

Family Regatta - For the Family - Kids show your parents how its done.

Ocean Day - For the Family - Come meet your SYC fellow sailors and friends at Ponquoge Beach and enjoy the surf and sun! Bring your own drinks and lunch or you can buy treats at the concession stand.

Bonfire Dance - For the Family - The kids dance the night away at SYC with a DJ and enjoy the epic bonfire with endless s’mores.

Commodore's Party - This is SYC's biggest fundraiser of the year, in addition to being a magical night. Enjoy cocktails and dinner under the stars catered by one of our fabulous local eateries. Support the club by both donating and/ or bidding in our auction. In the past cherished items such as tickets to sporting events or concerts, artwork, wines from local vineyards, gift baskets, photography, jewelry, sailing lessons, various sailing paraphernalia and gift cards for restaurants have met with great success!
